Water and fire damage dispatch for northern Arkansas, from the White River to the Mississippi

Dispatch lines

What this line does, and who actually shows up

There is no truck with this name on the side of it. This is a dispatch and referral line covering five Arkansas counties, and the work is done by independent restoration contractors who buy those counties. Knowing that in advance changes what you should expect from the first phone call and from the second one.

One number, one county. That is the whole routing rule on this site.

The arrangement in plain terms

A dispatcher answers, takes the address and the situation, and passes it to a restoration contractor working that region. The contractor calls back directly and everything after that is between the two of you: the estimate, the scope, the schedule, the invoice, the insurance paperwork. This line does not set prices, hold a contract with you, or perform any part of the work.

There is no office in Craighead, Crittenden, Baxter, Crawford or Franklin County behind this name, and no address here is going to be presented as one. What exists is a phone routing arrangement and a set of counties that have been purchased for specific types of damage.

  1. You callOne number per county. The dispatcher takes the address, the ZIP and a short description of what happened.
  2. A local crew calls backAn independent restoration contractor already working that county rings you directly and sets a time.
  3. They look, then scope itNothing is priced from a phone call. The crew walks the building, takes readings, and writes a scope you can hand to your adjuster.

Why the coverage looks the way it does

Counties are bought individually, and so are the two types of damage. That is why Craighead County carries fire and no water, why Baxter, Crawford and Franklin carry water and no fire, and why Crittenden County carries both. Nobody designed that pattern to be tidy; it is simply what was available and what was taken.

The five counties also sit in three regions that share no border. Jonesboro and West Memphis are on and beside Crowley's Ridge in the northeast. Mountain Home, Cotter and Gassville are in the Ozarks on the White River between two Corps dams. Van Buren, Alma, Cedarville, Mulberry, Ozark and Charleston are in the Arkansas River Valley under the Boston Mountains. Nothing about a house in Cotter resembles a house in Earle, and pretending otherwise on a website helps nobody.

What is deliberately absent from this site

Those omissions are not modesty. They are the parts of a restoration site most often filled with things that cannot be checked, and leaving them out is the only way the parts that can be checked mean anything.

What can be checked

Everything specific on this site about these counties comes from public sources: National Weather Service storm data for the 2019 Arkansas River crests at Van Buren and Ozark and the February 2021 snow totals, Corps of Engineers material on Bull Shoals and Norfork, city and utility publications, and news reporting on the Jonesboro and West Memphis fires. If a number appears here, it appears because somebody else published it first.

Before you call

Who am I hiring if I call?

An independent restoration contractor who works the county your address is in. Their name, their paperwork, their price. This line makes the introduction and nothing else.

Does it cost anything to call?

No. The referral costs the caller nothing. Whatever the contractor charges for the work is agreed between you and them.

Can I ask for a specific company?

You can ask, but a dispatcher routes by county and type of damage rather than by name. If you already know who you want, calling them directly is faster.

Why not just say you cover all of north Arkansas?

Because it would not be true. Water is bought in four of these counties and fire in two, and a caller in the wrong column deserves to hear that in the first thirty seconds rather than the last.
